On KALW with San Francisco Girls Chorus & Sarah Cahill

Tune in to KALW.org on Sunday June 13th 8pm PST to hear an excerpt from my newly commissioned work In Stillness I Sing, written for and in collaboration with the San Francisco Girls Chorus and pianist Sarah Cahill. Set to words written by the singers about their lock-down experiences, this first movement was recorded live by the chorus and Sarah from their own homes using JackTrip Virtual Studio. An excerpt of the piece will be featured on Sarah’s KALW radio show "Revolutions Per Minute" and include a conversation with SFGC Artistic Director Valérie Sainte-Agathe, myself and several Premier Ensemble choristers. Read more about the piece in this week's SFGC Postcard.
