Tune in to hear an excerpt from my newly commissioned work In Stillness I Sing, written for and in collaboration with the San Francisco Girls Chorus and pianist Sarah Cahill. Set to words written by the singers about their lock-down experiences, this first movement was recorded live by the chorus and Sarah from their own homes using JackTrip Virtual Studio. An excerpt of the piece will be featured on Sarah’s KALW radio show "Revolutions Per Minute" and include a conversation with SFGC Artistic Director Valérie Sainte-Agathe, myself and several Premier Ensemble choristers.
