Estamos Ensemble will premiere compositions that have been written for the ensemble by composers of renown standing in varying musical realms: William Parker, Pauline Oliveros, Joan Jeanrenaud, Nels Cline, Vinny Golia and Thollem McDonas from the U.S. and Ana Lara, Jorge Torres Saenz, Juan Felipe Waller and Hebert Vasquez from Mexico. Estamos Ensemble aspires to foster more collaboration between improvisers and composers of the neighboring countries of Mexico and the US. This concert is the culmination of a one week residency of concerts in the Bay Area.

Elektra at the Getty Villa
In Sept-Oct, I will be performing in A.C.T.'s production of Sophocles' ELEKTRA, directed by Carey Perloff, starring Annie Purcell and Olympia Dukakis at the Getty Villa in Los Angeles. www.getty.edu
